The Coffee
Our second batch of the Dark Origin comes from Rio Brilhante, one of the largest and most respected farms in Brazil’s Cerrado Mineiro. Owned by Inacio Carlos Urban, the farm spans over 2,000 hectares and is known for its relentless focus on quality, sustainability, and innovation.
Grown at 1,050m and naturally processed, the Catuaí 62 cherries are dried slowly on patios for around 23 days until optimal moisture is reached. The result is a clean, sweet, and structured cup that reflects the balance of wet and dry seasons unique to Cerrado — a region with protected Origin status.
